Leaders Romans Group had an incredible year in 2022! We are proud to be one of the UK’s largest property services groups, and provide a comprehensive range of property related services including residential sales and lettings, land, planning, corporate and financial services – plus many more!
Overall we delivered an impressive £5.45bn in total residential sales last year – £300m was for New Homes and £150m for Shared Ownership sales. This was achieved through valuing 44,063 properties and conducting over 200,000 sales viewings, as well as having over 165,129 new sales applicants register with us in 2022. And we currently have a grand total of 188,000 live sales applicants looking to purchase a new home.
In the lettings sector, we collected an incredible £812m in rent, and now manage 58,924 properties across the UK. Representing 41,582 landlords, we also manage 705 residential blocks nationwide, and are currently helping 144,675 registered applicants search for a new home to rent!
Furthermore, we are proud to report that we carried out 11,730 surveys during the year and arranged just under £2bn worth of mortgages.
Our Land and Development team had its most successful year to date with contracts being exchanged on 20 new sites totalling 3,500 new plots. And Boyer Planning achieved planning permission for 6,272 homes in 2022.
We are committed to achieving high standards across our environmental, social and governance initiatives. It is important to us that we conduct our business in a sustainable way, and during the course of this year we raised £21,500 for Macmillan, planted 16,000 trees and donated 37,000 books. Showing that we are committed to having a positive impact on our environment and the communities we work in is a priority, and we also opened our first sustainable branch in Brighton!
Finally, we are pleased to have achieved a Google review score of 4.5/5, indicative of our ongoing commitment to providing the highest quality of service.
