One of Romans’ leading Sales Directors has become the first agent within the company to become an Associate Member of RICS.
Daniel Collis, Regional Director of Residential Sales, has almost 15 years’ experience in a variety of roles within the industry, having joined Romans as a Sales Advisor in 2005 and worked his way through the ranks to his current position.
Following Romans’ initiative to improve staff engagement and develop a robust training and education programme, the company has funded and supported Daniel through his AssocRICS training and are delighted to announce that he has successfully achieved the qualification.
In addition to his AssocRICS, Daniel has started working towards a Level 5 Operations/Department Manager Apprenticeship, which is equivalent to a Foundation degree or above – an additional qualification offered by the Romans Group.
“I take great pride in personally assisting and mentoring my Residential Sales teams here at Romans, and am keen to help them deliver impeccable customer service whilst achieving their personal and professional objectives. By working for my AssocRICS and Level 5 Apprenticeship, not only am I building on my own knowledge and experience of the property industry, I’m setting an example to my teams and encouraging them to consider further education in their fields, too.
I believe promoting self-development is a really important focus, not just for the company, but for the industry as a whole. Regulation within the property industry is constantly evolving, so it’s important that our staff are confident and educated in their roles so to deliver the very best practice and, as a result, customer experience possible.”
Since their merge with Leaders in 2016, all employees of Romans and the Leaders Romans Group are encouraged to participate in further education relevant to their field. The Group believes strongly in upskilling its people, and so offers an array of Apprenticeship schemes. From Customer Service and Business Administration to Team Leader/Supervisor and Departmental Management courses, the Group is able to offer a level of education to support many of its employees.
In addition to this, and in line with the Group’s belief that all agents should be delivering the highest level of customer service possible, employees are encouraged to complete relevant qualifications including NFoPP, ARLA and NARLA, to ensure the consistent delivery of industry-leading service for our customers.
