Having completed a Business Administration course, Vanessa joined a local firm of Estate Agents as a Junior Secretary. Vanessa quickly realised that she enjoyed sales and in 2000 passed her Certificate of Practice in Estate Agency with distinction and then went on to progress her career through the ranks to Branch Manager.

Vanessa started her journey with Romans in 2005 working as a Sales Manager in the New Homes Division and quickly progressed to Divisional Sales Team Manager. After making a move into the HR team, she specialised in Recruitment for the Romans Group. Vanessa has recently taken on a new challenge, driving the Group’s CSR strategy as Culture and Community Engagement Manager. As part of her role, Vanessa actively engages with schools, colleges, charities and our local communities offering fundraising support, business insight and careers guidance.

Vanessa enjoys spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren as well as her dog Ted. Always dedicated to the job, even whilst on holiday Vanessa helps boost awareness of Battersea Dogs Home by travelling with Roman the dog and posting about his adventures on her social media accounts.
